The firm is delighted to announce its support of a number of worthy charities for the next twelve months.
Following requests and consultation amongst colleagues we have decided to assist eleven new charities in addition to the Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland which we continue to back.
The chosen charities are ovarian cancer organisation, Ovancom; Team Leo which supports newborn babies in memory of Leo Baird; Midlothian News and View, a talking newspaper for the blind; The Yard, a safe play environment for young people with disabilities; Hamilton Churches Drop In Centre which provides hot meals, clothing and shower facilities to those in need; WGH, a complimentary therapy service; PSP Association with advises people with progressive supranuclear palsy; Headway which seeks to improve life after brain injury; 3D Drumchapel, which assists local families; Transverse Myeilitis Society which deals with neurological conditions and Asbestos Action Tayside.
Gillian Brown, Partner, said, “We were keen to spread our fundraising efforts across a number of small charities this year rather than providing a large sum to just one. It’s never an easy task selecting which charities to support as they are all very deserving but all of those selected have special links to someone in the firm.”
The firm actively fundraises throughout the year from hosting monthly dress down days and bake sales to more adventurous fun runs.< Back
