Trainee Exchange with IWC Media

We are delighted to announce our Trainee Exchange with IWC Media and welcome Angela Mills to our team. We are sure our Corporate Trainee Richard Danks will be settling in well at IWC Media and we look forward to hearing all about it on his return.

This is a great and exciting opportunity for both Richard and Angela to enhance their skills.

The secondment will allow Richard to work within an in-house legal team to develop an insight to the legal issues that arise within a client’s business/a private sector company.  It will also develop his understanding of the way our clients’ businesses run, providing him with a better understanding of what a business requires from its legal advisers, particularly those clients in the media and entertainment sector. This will form an excellent basis for further client interaction.

This opportunity is equally as valuable to Angela, who will be able to use her skills in a different setting, and provide client centred legal services within private practice. Angela will benefit from gaining exposure to a diverse range of legal matters and clients, allowing her to return to IWC with a greater scope of knowledge of all matters corporate.

IWC Media, which is part of the Zodiak media group, was formed in 2004 and is Scotland’s largest independent production company, producing a wide range of high quality TV programmes from its offices in Glasgow and London. IWC’s better known brands include Location Location Location (now into its 19th season), Robson Green’s Extreme Fishing, Wild Things and Lost Kingdoms, but the breadth and depth of its programming is something of which the team at IWC are very proud.
