Lucy is a solicitor in our Family Law Department. Originally from Edinburgh, Lucy moved west for university where she graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BA (Hons) before commencing her LLB which she completed in 2003. She returned to Edinburgh to undertake the Legal Diploma and train with a medium sized Edinburgh firm. After qualifying, Lucy headed north to work for a small, niche family law firm in Inverness. Having returned to Edinburgh in 2010, Lucy’s focus has been on family law and gaining experience within the many sheriff courts throughout Scotland.
Lucy’s primary focus is family and child related issues. Lucy has experience in the preparation and presentation of cases in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session. Lucy generally advises clients on the best way to resolve their disputes whilst trying to minimise any upset to the family.
