Brought up in Hamburg, Louise Gardiner obtained a law degree from Munich University. After having qualified as a German lawyer in Hamburg, she took up employment with a firm of corporate solicitors in London with whom she had already spent six months during her traineeship.
Having settled in Edinburgh with her family in 2001, Louise re-qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 2004 and now holds both a Scottish and an English practising certificate.
She specialises in EU Procurement Law on which she advises a variety of clients as well as other law firms. Having spent many years as a contributing editor of Sweet & Maxwell's “European Current Law”, Louise has a thorough knowledge of European law generally
In addition to working as an associate in the corporate department dealing with all aspects of company law, Louise delights in dealing with German business connections on a regular basis.
