Jackie is an Associate in our Family Law team. She began her career with Bonar Mackenzie in 1984 and studied for her law degree during her time there. She has specialised in family law since qualifying as a Solicitor in May 2006.
Jackie advises clients on a broad range of Family Law issues, including separation, divorce, cohabitants’ rights, pre-nuptial agreements, and child related issues including relocation, contact disputes and parental rights and responsibilities. She has a particular interest in child abduction and has acted for parents whose children have been brought to Scotland and retained here from the country of their habitual residence and parents whose have been taken from Scotland. Jackie has experience of dealing with financial and child related cases both in the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court.
