Julian is the Chairman of Morisons as well as a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. A graduate of Edinburgh University, he qualified as a solicitor in 1975 and joined Morisons Solicitors in 1976, becoming a Partner in 1978.
Julian has extensive knowledge of claims involving personal injury, property damage and defamation with particular experience in cases involving brain injuries and professional negligence as well as Fatal Accident Inquiries.
As chairman, Julian is responsible for client relations and business development.

A Partner in the Litigation Department, Aileen is a specialist in Family Law and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Family Law mediator.
She is a member of both the Scottish Collaborative Family Law Group and the Comprehensive Accredited Lawyer Mediators (CALM).
Aileen is a graduate of Edinburgh University and qualified as a solicitor in 1977.

Ken is a Partner in the firm's Insurance Department. He has extensive experience in a number of areas of litigation but now deals primarily with claims for personal injury, professional negligence and property damage. Ken acts for both major insurers and a significant number of private clients.
He attended Dundee University and qualified as a solicitor in 1989.

A graduate of Glasgow University, Alex qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and went on to qualify as a Solicitor Advocate in civil litigation. He is a Partner in the Litigation Department where his main focus is on commercial litigation including contract disputes, contentious contract disputes and planning enquiries.
Alex is part of a three Partner group involved in providing advice to developer clients on construction issues from appointment of consultants and contractors to infrastructure agreements and disputes from resolution of minor disagreements through formal arbitration to Court of Session litigation.

Stephen is an Partner in the Litigation Department of Morisons. He acts on behalf of clients with personal injury claims including workplace accidents, road traffic accidents, industrial disease, medical negligence and public liability.
A graduate of Aberdeen University, Stephen qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 before joining Morisons in 1999.
Stephen is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury Law.

With a wealth of experience in litigation, Scott also has a commercial background away from law which affords him a wider perspective of his clients’ requirements.
Scott is a graduate of Kent and Edinburgh universities and qualified as a solicitor in 1982.
