Morisons LLP has announced a very substantial and sustained growth in their turnover in the four year period from 2002. Commenting on the firm’s growth Rob Flockhart, Chairman of Morisons, said “Since 2002 the firm has seen exceptional increases in turnover growth in nearly all areas of the business mix.”
Flockhart continued “Much of our success over the past four years has been due to our ability to win new clients like George Wimpey and Allied Irish Bank by putting our client’s needs at the centre of our business. Going forward we will be introducing new initiatives that will benefit our clients, the business and our employees.”
Building on this success Morisons has converted to a Limited Liability Partnership. Rob Flockhart explained “As a modern, outward looking firm, and in order to build on our recent impressive growth, we felt that it was important to adopt a transparent corporate structure that would help us to attract new talent to help drive the next phase of our growth and expansion.”
The firm has also announced 2 new Partners and 1 new Associate. Alan Minty, who joined Morisons in 2001, has become a Partner in the Commercial Property Department while Stephen Irvine, who joined the firm in 1999, has become a Partner in the Litigation Department. In addition, Julie McMahon, a dual qualified Solicitor and Chartered Tax Adviser, has become an Associate in the Private Client and Estates Department. These internal promotions are also strengthened by the hiring of Johnnie Cuthbert as a Consultant in the Glasgow Office.
