Networking seminar proves great resource for HR professionals
Gender Pay Gap Reporting and Managing Sickness Absence were just two of the headline topics at our recent HR Seminar presented by the firm’s Employment Team in Edinburgh.
Attracting an audience of leading HR, Finance and other professionals, Partner, Jacqueline McCluskey provided an informative insight into the new legislation coming into force on Gender Pay Gap Reporting and the impact it will have on businesses with under 250 employees, as well as those with 250 or more employees who will be obliged to publish information from April 2018.
Jacqueline highlighted, “Although the obligation to publish figures doesn’t arise until 2018 companies will have to report historical figures, particularly on the differences in bonus pay between men and women from May 2016. It’s also an issue which smaller companies should have on their agenda, particularly those involved in tendering.”
The networking seminar also featured the latest updates on Managing Sickness Absence, as well as topical case reviews.
