Imaginarium 2018 art competition
We are delighted to announce the launch of our annual Imaginarium art competition for 2018 aimed at people living with a physical or learning disability.
The theme for this year’s competition is ‘Nature’. Participants are invited to capture the theme through any art media including drawings, collages, pottery, photography or digital design. There are a number of different categories and artwork can be submitted individually or through a group with a range of prizes on offer including the opportunity to spend a day’s workshop with a leading artist.
The initiative, which has been held annually for the past five years, was designed by the firm’s Private Client team who specialise in working with charities and families who support and care for adults who lack capacity. All the artwork will feature in a public exhibition within the firm’s offices in Glasgow in the autumn.
We are hoping the competition will not only encourage people to explore their creativity but also lead those to head outdoors especially at this time of year when we can all benefit from its positive effect on our wellbeing. Nature is such an individual but vast topic that we’re really looking forward to people’s interpretation of the theme.
Anyone interested in taking part, please contact Deborah Fanning on 0141 332 5666 or 0131 226 6541 or alternatively email at . Please forward submissions and details to either our Glasgow or Edinburgh office.
Closing date: Friday 29 June 2018.
